Elaine Gao, whose previous experience includes managing 5 GWs of conventional and renewable generation, joins the Statkraft US team to serve within its Power Portfolio Management team. Hannah Rogers, previously with one of the nation’s leading regulatory analytics companies covering energy markets, will help enhance the US team’s coverage of the ever-changing policy landscape in both power and environmental commodity markets.
“We are pleased to welcome Maddie, Elaine, Hannah, and Ryan to our growing team at an exciting time for our business,” said Patrick Pfeiffer, Head of Statkraft US. “As demand for energy continues to grow, so do the various risks market participants face. Increasingly, the market is looking for companies that can help mitigate various market and regulatory risks through standard and bespoke transactions. Given Statkraft’s experience managing the risks inherent to its own extensive renewable portfolio, we are able to execute transactions which enable our counterparties to mitigate their unwanted exposures to energy markets. Maddie and Ryan bring expertise and commercial experience that will strengthen our ability to offer innovative customer-focused energy solutions.”
