About Statkraft in the US
Statkraft has been active in the US carbon, renewable energy and PPA market for more than 10 years, opening an official branch in San Francisco, California in May 2015.
As a leading market integrator and PPA provider, Statkraft provides a bridge between energy producers and end consumers, working with a diverse range of companies and industries. In the US, Statkraft offers PPAs to industrial and commercial companies as well as project developers and investors. This enables the financing of new renewable power plants. As one of the most important actors in the energy market, Statkraft trades energy and renewable energy certificates in the US.
By being active in the market and simultaneously being able to tap into our extensive portfolio in the US and across borders, we enable customers to achieve their sustainability and procurement targets with competitive pricing. We take on market and portfolio-related risks for them.
